Bottle Shop
Sandwiches | Cheese + Charcuterie | Wine | Craft Beer | Provisions
Located in Durango, CO
Side Street opened in May 2025 (fka Cork and Larder). What started as a wine bar and cheese shop quickly morphed into a gourmet sandwich and bottle shop. Durango told us what they wanted more of our sandwiches, craft beer, wine and a comfortable hangout, so we happily obliged.
We take our sandwiches seriously. We make everything from scratch and source the best ingredients we can get our hands on. House roasted meats, Olympia Provisions charcuterie from Portland, River Bear smoked ham from Colorado, ciabatta rolls from our local bakery Bread.
We take our wine and beer just as seriously. You’ll find rotating wine options by the glass and bottle choices that no one else in the 4 corners offers. Wine bottles can be purchased to take home at retail pricing or for a $15 corkage fee, you can enjoy a bottle in the cafe.

OUR WINE + BEER PROGRAM DOESN’T FIT IN A BOX
We are are always in search of new and exciting wines that are not readily available in Durango. We strive for a unique mix of more traditional wines, biodynamic, organic, natural, along with a mix of traditional old world + new world wines.
Our by the glass program is always changing due to the nature of the bottle shop. We are able to bring in a lot of wines for the retail section and are then able to pour them by the glass. It’s a program designed to bring you out of your comfort box, to try new wines.
Our bottle program is equally unique. We don’t charge the typical 3x-4x markup for onsite bottles, we charge a $15 corkage fee for any bottle in the fridge or on the shelves. It’s casual, it’s unpretentious and it’s meant for you to try all types of wines.
Please note that we are working on an online shop section for our wines. Until the, come in and talk with us about what’s new and exciting.
And let’s not forget about the beer! The other side to a bottle shop is a large beer selection. We carry a rotating beer selection in the fridge and on tap. A great mix of European beers, American craft breweries, Craftwell Cocktails, dark beers, pils, IPA’s, light summer lagers and more! You’ll also find a large IPA selection as that is what we drink most.
